About Us
The Bush River Yacht Club is a non-profit organization founded in 1939. We are located on the beautiful Bush River in Harford County, Maryland, just minutes from Baltimore, and 45 minutes from Philadelphia. The Bush River is a major tributary of the Chesapeake Bay, slightly north of Poole's Island on the Western Shore.
Bush River Yacht Club is a Charter Member of the Yacht Clubs of Maryland and a Founding Member of the Chesapeake Bay Yacht Clubs Association. We also have a Chapter of the International Order of the Blue Gavel, which is a world-wide organization of over 4000 Past Commodores of qualified yacht clubs.
As a member of Bush River Yacht Club you will join a group intensely involved with the enjoyment of boating and quickly become a part of the reason Bush River Yacht Club is one of the "Best on the Bay."
